This essay is about Rocky Mountain National Park and Pawnee Buttes and their similarities and differences.  Two similarities they have are the hikes, and the clouds. The wildlife, weather, and the landscape were the three differences they had.

First, the hikes were both alike in a couple ways. The hikes were very long and we saw wildlife on both of them.  Although the hikes were long and tiring, we really enjoyed them. The hikes gave us a chance to see nature.  Finally,  the last similarities was the clouds.  At both places the clouds were clear, white, and very fluffy. These are some of the similarities that Rocky Mountain National Park and Pawnee Buttes share.

The wildlife at Rocky Mountain National Park and Pawnee Buttes were very different. In the Rocky Mountains we saw animals such as elk, big horn sheep, and mountain lions.   We stopped and watched the elk eat in a meadow.  Where as at Pawnee Buttes, the animals were very small.  Although, large buffalo herds once roamed the area.  Another difference was the weather. The weather at Rocky Mountain National Park could change every five minutes.  It was cold, warm, windy, rainy, and it had some snow.  The weather at Pawnee Buttes was was warm, dry,  and breezy. The landscapes were also very different. The mountains were rocky and there were many trees.  At Pawnee Buttes it was flat and it had very little trees, but buttes instead. These were some of the many differences at Rocky Mountain National Park Pawnee Buttes.

Clearly you can see that Rocky Mountain National Park and Pawnee Buttes have both similarities and differences, whether it's wildlife, weather or landscape.
