1st-- As the movie begins, the Earth is a molten ball
being bombarded by meteorites. The Earth remains a molten
ball throughout the months of January and February.

water steams back into the cloud. This slowly cools the
crust.
February 28--The crust begins to harden, forming continents.
The oceans begin to fill.
